The Book of Life and Living has it that wisdom is the principal thing and in all our getting we should get understanding.

There are things we should better learn from others than experience them.

There are ages at which you are not supposed to be looking for jobs.

Granted!

So, that is why having a plan B and proactively preparing for the evil day is never a bad idea.

What that entails is self-awareness-auditing of our skills- hard and soft skills- at intervals while we are on our carrier paths to see how we can adjust to new challenges of life should the eventualities of life become our lots.

Take it or leave it, life will always happen.
Though it may not be against us. Getting ready or being prepared for it is not a better idea.
