Silence Is Golden

How golden is your silence?

Silent is a sign language and communication that is not always
good for the talking spirit called man.

In some moments, it can be good and golden, but not to an extreme extrovert who will always take silent moments for mourning moments.

In a family setting, there are times someone who doesn't speak frequently as he/she ought to is deemed as a slow poison. Hard to speak but deadly in actions.

I prefer talkers even though they may sometimes spill the beans but the scriptures opine that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Therefore, it will be good to have you speak at least meaningfully about the situations that concern you and your family as occasions demand. Even Zechariah was allowed the privilege to write down the name he would want his son to be called despite being deaf and dumb at the time John the Baptist was to be named.

Also, it is equally good that you control what you speak of knowing that your words have powers to keep or kill you.
You should learn to think through your speech by listening attentively before responding appropriately to the call.

Flippant speeches should be avoided, but the graveyard silence should equally be avoided too.

Let your words be seasoned with a sense of humor to spice up your relationship with your spouse and family members. Don't allow your unspoken words to spike up terrors in the hearts of your spouse, children, and wards.

I campaign for moderation in all communication within the family.
