THANK GOD IS FRIDAY
🎍#ThankGodIsFriday
Give me an hour, a solemn time with yourself.
Thank God is Friday, is a cliche that has come to stay.
And it is not going any time soon. It is not going anywhere in the next foreseeable future.
You know what?
Who started it is not as important as the importance; it serves as a reminder that the week is drawing to an end as we anticipate a new week to start.
To some people, Friday marks the endpoint to all official engagements and or office engagements whilst to some people it is the starting point for all social engagements for the week.
Also, to some people, Friday is the point from where they start to unwind for the rest of the weekend.
Then!
The question that burdens my mind is what you and I use the weekend for.
To what extent do things we do at weekends glorify God?
Currently!
We are in a fast-moving world now more than ever before. Information now travels at the speed of light.
From my standpoint, it does appear that we are dwelling in the peripheral and ephemeral things exploring and exploiting the world while neglecting ourselves to trend.
This is nearer to foolishness than it is to wisdom.
I will appreciate your time this weekend if you can spend an hour reflecting and thinking through all that you have allowed and absorbed into yourself spirit, soul, and body within the week.
Then, take a cursory look at things that were not supposed to be allowed and absorbed, and go ahead to expunge them.
Erase or remove every impediment to the spiritual, soulful, and physical well-being that you might have discovered within your solemn hour and glorify God for His mercies and loving kindness upon you.
Thank Him for with Him all things are possible. He is the Almighty God.
Let gratitude be your attitude for the manifestation of your altitude.
Love, like, comment, and share this post with others.
Enjoy your weekend.
