THE DANGERS OF ENDORSEMENT AND VALIDATION
To every plus there is a corresponding minus out there waiting to be activated.
It is when there seems to be a deficiency in the plus that you notice the minus.
Light exists to invalidate the effects of darkness. It is the absence of light that announces the presence of darkness.
Endorsement and validation of your character and suitability for position and purpose by the third party are good.
However, there are dangers to the endorsement and validation you received from the third party if your endorsers and validators have uncleared credibility questions about their lives.
Also, there is a danger of you losing out if your endorsers and validators are allowed to have an unbearable influence over your thoughts, choices, decisions, and actions.
The consequences of having endorsers and validators with questionable character and unbearable influences are enormous depending on the scope of your operations and the constituency you cover.
There will be such consequences as ego squabbles and identity crises to determine who is in charge, favoritism, nepotism, lack of accountability, corruption, lack of progress, and so on.
Given that, what happens in the larger society has its roots in the foundation, the families, and the homes from which the principal actors in our societies come;
What should be parents' and child caregivers' roles in ensuring that their endorsement and validation of their children and wards are just and equitable?
Parents and child caregivers lend me your ears 👂👂.
Your children and wards are individually customized, divinely calibrated, special, and unique for the purpose that they might find a reason to align and relate to complement and complete one another.
There are no two individuals that are the same even the so-called identical twins don't have identical personality traits.
Moreover, no one is complete by him/herself which is why we are created rational and relational beings.
Parents and child caregivers must arise to take up the full responsibility of identifying their children and wards according to their personality traits.
Your children's and wards' strengths and weaknesses should be identified. It is easier to identify the strengths and weaknesses of children when they are young.
It is at this stage in life that you can guide them to identify their purposes in life based on their special areas of comparative advantages in gifts, passion, and talents.
Furthermore, it is rewarding when you pay detailed attention to your children and wards, especially when you guide them in identifying their purpose, and groom and nurture them to fruition.
Parents and child caregivers, stop unnecessary comparisons and competitions among and between your children and wards.
Guide and guard your words.
Your words can keep or kill your children and wards. Manage your emotional outbursts.
Emotional intelligence is a soft skill that enhances all forms of relationships, and it is learnable. Learn it. Life is a learning arena. Learn, practice, and implement to progress.
Life is better as an arena for complementary completions that foster mutual collaboration, cooperation, and contribution for optimal results.
This helps in building a positive synergy and leverage for exponential growth and results whereby one shall chase a thousand and two ten thousand, thus fulfilling the scriptures.
On the other hand, a life of competitive comparison breeds the spirits of bitterness, envy, division, intimidation, subversion, suppression, and such that foster more feuds and foes.
Therefore, live in awareness and consciousness of the forgoing illuminations and prove your call.
To your fruitfulness in service as co-creators with God in procreation, enjoy your day.
