THE LOST TREASURE: Are You One?
-Don't be the lost treasure.
Life is an institution of learning.
To fit in here you must be prepared to learn.
Your failure to treasure learning is your failure to treasure life.
Whenever you lose learning chances you have lost a treasure.
Learning is a process whereby you acquire new knowledge, discard outdated knowledge, and progress to upgrade your existing knowledge.
Knowledge is light.
Knowledge illuminates.
Also, knowledge is a treasure that must and should be treasured.
Knowledge can be learned.
Knowledge increases or decreases.
You can lose knowledge.
Lost knowledge is a lost treasure.
Understanding enhances and speeds up your learning process. Practice and implementation improve, prove, and progress you to mastery.
Learning and the knowledge it gives run in cumulative additives.
However, your retention of the knowledge acquired is subject to your retentive memory and the speed at which you can recall the stored information in your memory.
Unfortunately, memory fails.
To guide against memory loss or failure,
enhance your retentive memory; and
Improving the speed at which you recall the stored information in your memory is the reason why you write, record, and document knowledge and information as you gather them in the medium easily enough for their retrieval.
Don't be the Lost Treasure
How much of you do the world know of?
Your good and bad times are all for a purpose that those who look up to you for a guide will not be misled.
You are here earlier than others for a purpose and reason. Make it count.
It is in your power of choice to be the lost treasure or the found treasure.
You are the unread book that the world is waiting for.
You can choose to make it available to the world or otherwise.
Your life is a book whether written or unwritten.
The sad report is that you may end up among the undocumented majority enriching the graveyards rather than enriching minds.
You are in a position to write your story truthfully without much coloration.
In climes where keeping a daily journal is a tradition, book writing and chronicles of important events and heritages are not only hubby and passion but compulsory because they are the ways of teaching, training, and transferring knowledge from generation to generation.
With books, you can time-travel to the past, the present, and the future;
With books, you can replicate processes and procedures that give birth to successful results over time and age.
Also, with books you can evaluate and reevaluate processes and procedures to have better results.
Moreover, proper and truthful documentation of processes and procedures will help you avoid the pitfalls of the ages gone by.
With good books, transitional and transformed characters can be formed with due diligence, discipline, dedication, devotion, and determination.
Good books make transgenerational wealth and wisdom easier to acquire and accumulate.
Furthermore, books make you live beyond your age, impacting and influencing the lives of generations and generations next.
The Secret of the Ages was originally published:1926. It is still affecting, impacting, and influencing lives today despite getting to a century when it was first published.
On the contrary, so much more can be lost if you fail to document your:
🌷-thoughts;
🌷-beliefs;
🌷-norms, cultures, and heritages; and
🌷-stories.
As I am writing this, I feel the pain of my lost opportunities because of my failure to:seek, find and write down one of the principal heritage of my lineage.
I am from a lineage known for traditional prowess in pregnant women's health care and delivery using leaves, roots, and herbs.
Unfortunately, there was no form of written documentation of processes and procedures involved then.
Today, there is no person in my lineage with full knowledge of this heritage from my great-great grandma which we would have modernized by now if we were deliberate about it.
All I am advocating is an endeavor to ensure that you get documented:
✅ Your ideas,
✅ Your thoughts,
✅ Your beliefs, and
✅ Your stories because in them are your: trials, temptations, triumphs, testimonies, and of course your grace, glory, and gold revealed.
