Character is the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual -Oxford Languages Dictionary.
A person's character means the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves-someone's personality.
California Coast University while writing on What Does 'Strong Character' Mean? Helping Your Child Become a Responsible Citizen, states, "People with strong character: show compassion, are honest and fair, display self-discipline in setting and meeting goals, make good judgments, show respect to others, show courage in standing up for beliefs, have a strong sense of responsibility, are good citizens who are concerned for their community, maintain self-respect."
What do you say of your character?
Your character is your attitude identity.
It is the attitude identity that defines and determines the altitude you will reach.
Your character can verify you, or it can vilify you.
Your character can approve or disapprove of you.
Your character can position you to promote you.
Your character is a compounded effect of your thoughts, decisions, choices, and actions that speak volumes of your personality in your presence or absence either to you or to others.
Furthermore, your character can push you up or pull you down.
Remember this always, every outstanding character of yours is potentially on trial to establish you or otherwise. Therefore, keep surveillance over your character.
What do people say of your character?
What people say of your character matters.
People's validation of your character indeed gives you a leading way to your position, progress, and promotion.
People's attestation of your character is more authentic than yours in the minds of others.
Your validation of yourself is good enough for your image, esteem, and confidence. However, it is not sufficient for you to be entrusted unreservedly until you are proven and validated by others.
Therefore, don't discountenance and discard the opinions of others but hunt for them and savor them.
Be self-compassionate enough to maintain and retain your esteem, image, and confidence while seeking other people's validation.
Endeavor and ensure you maintain a balance. You are made a rational, relational, and systemic being for a purpose. Let it count.
